Icons and Communities
David Vignoni, a graphic artist who has a special interest in icon designs. He is called the Icon-King and actually has a website with that title that serves as his portfolio. It is based on works from many different artists that inspired him, and continues to grow from whoever feels they have a contribution. http://www.oxygen-icons.org Is a fairly new user based community that was created by David. Oxygen, however, “does not intend to copy anything but rather to collect ideas for the ways that people present visual metaphors with an eye not only on artwork but also on usability and improve on these ideas.” It will be developed for KDE4……
